Amore Maneggiare con Cura is the wedding planning studio in Sicily founded by Paola + Cristina. We create weddings by hand, shaped around the people who will live them. Because before we can imagine a wedding, we need to get to know you: not only what you like, but what truly belongs to you. What you genuinely want, and what you may simply have seen somewhere else and still need to discover whether it speaks to you too. Our work begins with listening. Then come the questions and, little by little, everything else.

We are not simply entrusted with an event. We are entrusted with an architecture of relationships. Yours, first of all. And then the relationships between people, places, timing, wishes and the professionals who, together, will shape your wedding. Our work is to listen, interpret and create connections: to understand who will work well with you, which place can truly welcome you, which ideas represent you and which rhythm will allow you to experience those days naturally. Over the years, we have come to know many professionals. Experience allows us to recognise compatibility and, each time, build the right team around the couple, the project and the place. Experience is knowing what to recognise

More than anything, the years have taught us this: to recognise when a place is the right one, when a professional can genuinely connect with a couple, when a beautiful idea can become even more beautiful because it finally feels like the people who will live it — and when we need to keep looking. To us, experience does not mean always having an answer ready. It means knowing which questions to ask. It means having seen enough to still be able to look at every story as though it were the first.

Wedding planning in Sicily

Sicily is home. This is where we live and work. We know its places, but above all we know its rhythms, its people, its seasons and all those invisible mechanisms that rarely make it into a photograph. A place can be breathtaking. We also need to know what it will mean to experience it: how your guests will get there, how the light will change throughout the day, how people will move through the spaces, what will happen if the weather changes, how much room there will be for being together and how much for breathing. We know villas, masserie, palazzi, private residences and places that are harder to define. But knowing many wedding venues in Sicily is not what truly makes the difference. What matters to us is knowing how to interpret them, because knowing a place does not simply mean knowing where to go. It means knowing when a place is the right one.
